Our seamless cloud migration evaluation and recommendation model broadly follows Gartner's 5R technique. We apply one of the five techniques based on the evaluation from three stages of Cloud migration methodology outlined above. Our services include:
Rehost:
A "lift and shift" approach to migrating applications in an intact form using Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) without any major architectural changes.
Refactor:
A "lift, tinker, and shift" approach using a Platform as a Service (PaaS) model where there will not be any major modifications to the core architecture but a few modifications to optimize the use of cloud tools and aid in cost reduction.
Rebuild:
This model will involve major code and architectural changes and is a complex exercise.
Revision:
This involves the complete replacement of the existing code base and is undertaken only if current solutions are not aligned with business strategy and needs. In this case, it is a native solution.
Replace:
This is an alternative to rebuild, but here, there is no native solution, and the entire data is migrated to a third-party SAAS model.
